Four-year-old Kaitlyn knew exactly what to do when her mum was having a fit at home.
She dialled 999 and gave the important details to South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT) Call Handler Jess.
During the call Kaitlyn, who lives in Dorchester, showed extraordinary bravery, presence of mind, and wisdom beyond her years.
Thankfully, her mum made a recovery, and didn’t need paramedics to treat her.
Kaitlyn and her mum will make a special visit to the SWASFT 999 Control Centre near Bristol on Friday when Kaitlyn will be formally commended for her actions.
Here is the recording of the 999 call made by Kaitlyn.
