As many will know, Dorchester’s very popular traditional Heritage Open Day had to be put on hold until next year as a physical, hands-on event. In 2019 the event attracted thousands of visitors to the town and was a great success. Covid has put a temporary stop to that, so LoveDorch and Dorchester Heritage staged online events to compensate. KeeP 106 was very pleased to present a special six hour broadcast, along with Pageant Productions who provided a continuous live online video of the studio event, in which Dorchester’s heritage was discussed by various guests.
Below you can hear the entire six hour broadcast, divided into one hour segments.
Taking part are Gareth Jones, David Taylor, Tim Laycock, Tracy Hayes, Alistair Chisholm, Anne Jones, and many more with local ceilidh band, Tatterdemalion, providing live music between 2pm and 3pm.
Hosted by Kieran Williams, Andy Senior and Mike Streeter. Cornhill reporter, Rob Mott.
Production by Andy Worth/Pageant Productions/Andy Venton
