The Local Radio Day initiative was back to celebrate all that is good about the sector on Monday 12th October 2020 and around 160 local and community radio stations took part.

KeeP 106 marked the occasion with a day of live programmes, some highlighting important local organisations by way of interviews with representatives from them. You can hear the interviews by clicking on the tracks below.

The Breakfast Show presented by Clive Rawlings featured the Mosaic Child Bereavement Charity, Dorset Domestic Abuse Forum and Longmead Community Farm.

David Taylor spoke at length to Jo Thompson from ‘Foster in Dorset’ who gave an informative and reassuring interview about the actual process of becoming a foster carer.

Rob Mott’s guest in KeeP Driving was Giles Watts who has undertaken a 600 mile cycle ride to raise money for Cancer Research.
