Cycling Without Age – free trishaw rides but volunteers needed!

For folk with limited mobility an excellent service is available in Weymouth and Portland, with Dorchester coming on track soon (see below), allowing them the “right to wind in your hair”. Cycling Without Age provides rides in the open air in a ‘trishaw’ – a pedal-powered, electrically assisted, chariot for two passengers plus volunteer ‘pilot’. Rob Mott met up with Des Lochrie, chair of CWA Weymouth, who gave him a very pleasant ride along the seafront and explained what the organisation is all about…

More information at: cyclingwithoutage.org.uk/weymouth/ and facebook.com/weymouth.cwa/. See poster below for other details.

Contact: Weymouth – 07555 416399 or Portland – 07843 725935. Email – des@cyclingwithoutage.org.uk
