Weymouth Stands With Ukraine

On Sunday 26th June a special gathering took place at Weymouth’s Jubilee Clock organised by Ukrainian families who have been accommodated locally in celebration of Ukraine Constitution Day, with support from Weymouth Town Council, and as a way of saying “Thank you” to local residents for their support over the past few months. The event included a welcome speech by the Mayor, Cllr Ann Weaving, as well as entertainment from Ukranian children and cakes and bread baked by the Ukranian families, a tradition on Constitution Day.
