NHS, Social care and Frontline & Support Workers Day ceremony 5 July 2022

On 5th July, County Hall in Dorchester was the location for a ceremony held in tribute to all NHS, Social Care and Frontline & Support Workers for their care during the pandemic and to remember those who lost their lives in service. Speakers at the moving occasion included Cllr Val Pothecary, Chair of Dorset Council, Angus Campbell, Lord Lieutenant of Dorset and Ms Sibyl Fine King, High Sheriff of Dorset. The Last Post and Reveille were played by Elizabeth Carter BA (Hons), Musical Director of the Durnovaria Silver Band.
