Dorset Police received a report at 3.43am on Wednesday 6 July 2022 of a single vehicle collision involving a silver Ford Fiesta at the Osprey Quay Roundabout on Portland Beach Road.
There were no reports of any injuries. Damage was caused to fencing and bollards.

The vehicle was recovered, and the road was reopened around 6am.

Police Constable Billy Taylor, of the Portland Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “We are carrying out enquiries into this collision and I am keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident, or the manner of driving of the vehicle involved prior to it.

“I would also urge anyone who was driving in the area around the relevant time who has dashcam fitted to their vehicle to please check their footage for anything that might assist our investigation.”
