Weymouth & Portland RFC Captain Dave Oakesford is standing down from the helm of the Seahorses after four years in charge.
Dave said, “It’s been a privilege leading the club’s first XV, when I took over we were facing relegation and in the four years we have had three top three finishes and beaten Dorchester for the first time in many seasons, all be it in a pre-season trial match.
Billy Hayne & Tim Comben are taking over so the captaincy is good hands.”
