So Red A Road: new book records the sacrifice of men of the Dorset Regiment

As we reported on 23rd November, a new book reveals for the first time the extent of the sacrifice made by the men of the Dorset Regiment who, in September 1944, crossed the Neder Rijn near Arnhem to rescue the parachute and glider troops trapped on the north bank. The author, Christopher Jary, came to the studio to explain more about the Dorset’s bloody campaign and read a fascinating passage from the book…
