Vehicle stolen in Weymouth – police appeal for information

At around 4am on Friday 20 September 2024 a blue Audi A4 car was stolen from outside an address in Jestys Avenue, Weymouth.

Police Constable James Janssen, of Dorset Police, said: “I am appealing to anyone who witnessed the Audi A4 being driven around the relevant time of the incident to please contact us.

“I am reaching out to residents in the Dorchester Road area of the town to please check their home CCTV cameras.

“I would also like to hear from motorists with dashcams fitted to their vehicles who were driving in the area at the time of the incident to review their footage and see if they have captured anything that may help us identify the suspect.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact Dorset Police at www.dorset.police.uk or by calling 101, quoting occurrence number 55240145001. Alternatively, independent charity Crimestoppers can be contacted anonymously online at Crimestoppers-uk.org or by calling Freephone 0800 555 111.
