Walk in the footsteps of Romans this summer and discover Dorchester’s hidden past.
This Summer visitors will have the opportunity to meet the Roman reenactors from Cohor I Durotriga and be guided round some of the historic sites of Roman Dorchester ‘Durnovaria’ including the Roman Wall, The Roman Town House, the only example of a fully exposed Roman Town House in the country and finally back at the museum where visitors can see the current exhibition ‘All Roads lead to Durnovaria’ and a live archaeological dig.
Tours cost just £8 Adult and £4 Children and the ticket also includes entry to the Museum on the day. Tickets are available from the Museum by calling 01305 756827.
