CAP Money courses give people the tools to budget, save and spend more effectively so that they can take back control of their finances. The first full course ever held in Dorchester ran at the Dorford Centre in January and had 19 attendees. They are now enthusiastic ambassadors for it.
Listen to some of their comments:
“It is an excellent course. It really made me address the issues that I had been missing and I have been budgeting before.”
“I am so glad I attended: it was well worth it. This will be my new start and definitely has been a wake-up call. I have been leaving my bank statements unopened for too long.”
“There was a relaxing atmosphere, not threatening. You don’t have to divulge anything of your affairs.”
Dick Howard, who led the course, explains, “It was a very mixed group with people of all ages and backgrounds. Some wanted to give their finances a makeover whilst others had financial difficulties and were looking for practical help to sort things out. Everyone said that the course had made a difference to them and one man has even told us that he will be returning to join our next course as well so that he can take it all in. This course really works!”
The next course will start at 6.45pm on Wednesday 13th March and will run for three consecutive weeks at the Dorford Centre, Bridport Road, DT1 1RR. The course is provided for free.
