DCH Needs You!

Dorset County Hospital are on the lookout for some more volunteers to join the Friends of DCH team.

The Friends of Dorset County Hospital were founded in 1956 to provide comfort and help to patients at the old DCH, their relatives and friends. They also provide a service to patients and visitors, visiting the wards twice daily and having a one stop shop providing the little extras the patients may need. With the profits from these services they are able to provide facilities and equipment that is not always available through NHS funding.

Interested in becoming a volunteer for the Friends of Dorset County Hospital? If you are aged 16 or over then you can! If you can spare a few hours of your time we would love your help. Being a volunteer for the Friends can range from all sorts of activities and roles like helping out in our shop, helping with our trolley service at the Hospital, administration and many other exciting and rewarding opportunities.

If you are interested in volunteering, then please email friends@dchft.nhs.uk or call 01305 255 896.
