Suspected arson attack in Weymouth

Officers investigating a suspicious vehicle fire in Weymouth are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.

At approximately 4.20am on Thursday 22 August 2019 Dorset Police was called by the fire service to a report of a vehicle on fire at the rear of a property on Littlemoor Road.

Damage was caused to five cars and a shed.

Police Constable Luke Kerslake, of Weymouth police, said: “It is believed that the fire was started deliberately. I am appealing to anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious activity in the area at the relevant time to get in touch.

“I would also like to hear from anyone who may have taken any photos or videos of the fire on the night of the incident.”
