Dorset County Hospital will be holding an Endoscopy Open Day this month to showcase the roles and opportunities available in the department.
The open day is aimed at nurses and operating department practitioners, both qualified and in training, who are looking for a new challenge and who want to find out how being part of the endoscopy team at DCH can develop your career.
The team will be giving a tour of the department as well as showing a simulation of a procedure.
Members of staff will also be on hand to explain their job roles and day-to-day running of the Endoscopy Department.
Tina Jackson, Endoscopy Nurse Manager, said: “If you are not sure what we do or if endoscopy is a place you would like to work, please come to our open day.
“We would love the opportunity to show you around, meet the team and see the great work we do. We can also explain how endoscopy can be the launch pad for your career progression.
“Come and see for yourselves why our accrediting body said we were ‘one of the best units in the country’. We look forward to welcoming you.”
The DCH Endoscopy Open Day will be held on Friday 13 September and anyone interested in working in the department is invited to drop in anytime from 2pm until 7pm.
