Public appeal in search for missing Bovington teenager

Officers searching for a missing teenager from Bovington are appealing for help from the public to find him.

Kelevi Rakautoga, aged 17, left his home address at 10am on Wednesday 26 February 2020 and has not returned since. He last made contact with his family on Tuesday 10 March, saying he would come home on Thursday 12 March, but he has not returned.

Kelevi is described as six feet three inches tall and of slim build with short, black hair and a beard. He was wearing a blue jacket, black jeans and black Nike trainers.

Police Sergeant Tracy Santoni, of Dorset Police, said: “We are becoming increasingly concerned for Kelevi’s welfare and are keen to locate him to make sure he is all right.

“Officers have been carrying out a number of enquiries in an effort to make contact with Kelevi and I would urge anyone with information as to his whereabouts, or who sees a teenage boy matching the description given, to please contact us.

“I would also like to make a direct plea to Kelevi if you see this to please make contact with us or your family and let us know where you are as we just want to ensure that you are safe and well.”

Anyone with information or knowledge as to Kelevi’s whereabouts is asked to contact Dorset Police at www.dorset.police.uk, via email 101@dorset.pnn.police.uk or by calling 101, quoting occurrence number 55200030907.
