For some, the guidance isn’t clear enough…
Keep 106 has received reports that some people, with second homes in Dorset, have been traveling to the county to ‘isolate’. Its claimed that village stores have seen second homeowners attend to stock up, whilst they are in Dorset, and a key holder for another second home, near Bridport, refused to hand over the key, to the owner, when they arrived from London. They were told to go back home, which they did, after an alleged heated argument.
The use of second homers and other holiday accommodation is against the Government advice for non-essential travel and social distancing.
Dorset Police continue with their efforts to enforce at check points across the county.
The advice is clear – Stay Home, Protect the NHS… Save Lives!
