The owner of a dog that reportedly bit a man in Weymouth has been identified. It was reported that a man aged in his 80s was bitten on his hand by a dog as he walked along St Thomas Street at around 5pm on Monday 25 January 2021.
The victim further reported that he was approached by a woman who said the same dog had also just bitten her.
Following an appeal, the owner of the dog has been identified. No arrests have been made at this stage.
