Burglary at business in Weymouth – witness appeal

Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward following a commercial burglary in Weymouth.

At around 8.35am on Monday 22 February 2021 it was reported that a break-in had occurred at Hungerhill Garage on Lower Putton Lane. It is believed that the burglary took place during the evening of Sunday 21 February 2021.

A number of power tools and Snap-on hand tools were stolen.

Police Constable Rory Swinden, of Weymouth police, said: “I am carrying out a number of enquiries into this burglary, including house-to-house visits and CCTV checks of the area.

“I am appealing to anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity around the garage between Sunday 21 February and Monday 22 February 2021 to please get in touch.”
