Defibrillator Vandalised

Dorchester Police and residents have reacted after a defibrillator in Piddlehinton was vandalised.

The Police commented; “We have had a report of complete mindless vandalism to a Defibrillator at Piddlehinton Rugby club which was there for all the community to use in a medical emergency.”

There has been outrage from the public on social media;

  • “How disgraceful! Someone’s life could depend on that.”
  • “Absolutely disgraceful behaviour I hope they’re caught and dealt with. These defibrillators won’t be cheap to replace. Mindless.”
  • “Why are parents not questioning where their kids are? Under lockdown rules should only be out for excercise…”
  • “Absolutely disgraceful behaviour whatever age they are, it’s not necessarily children ……. frightening”

Police patrols have been enhanced in the area and if anyone has any information about this then please call 101 quoting reference 55210035066
