Latest Covid-19 information 26th March

COVID-19 case rates across Dorset have remained at similar levels this week, with a slight fall in the case rate for the Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole (BCP) Council area.

Case rates for both council areas are lower than the England average and around the same as the South West average. COVID-related hospital admissions and deaths continue to fall. Over 425,000 doses of the COVID vaccine have now been given across the county.

From Monday 29 March, people can meet outdoors in groups of up to six people, or two households. Outdoor sport facilities can reopen and formally organised outdoor sport can resume. People should continue to work from home where they can and minimise the number of journeys they make where possible.
