Going that extra mile

Step by step, mile by mile, Teresa Drage is leading from the front in the RNLI Mayday Mile Challenge.

Teresa who is the head of the Fund Raising Committee at Weymouth lifeboat station is undertaking the RNLI Mayday challenge, to travel a mile by any means every day for the month of May.

Teresa, who uses a frame to help her walk, is walking a mile every day using her RNLI emblazoned walking frame. If you see her as you go around in Weymouth please say hello and offer encouragement in her fund raising efforts.

Day seven and Teresa has already raised over £700 with one lady giving Teresa £100 in memory of her late husband who was a RNLI supporter.
