Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service reported on 18th August that they dealt with a major incident at cliffs near Bridport with multiple appliances in attendance.
They were assisted by Dorset Police and the Coastguard Service.
The coastal path is currently closed in that area.
We understand that there were two casualties, a man and a woman, who were rescued.
Although the cliffs can be dangerous and have been affected by landslides previously, there is no suggestion of a slip on this occasion.
