Dorchester Park4Free dates announced

Starting Saturday 20th November the Dorchester BID in association with Dorchester Town Council have agreed with Dorset Council to run Park4Free days on selected dates during November and December, with another one in January.

The Park4FREE days are Saturday 20th and 27th November. Saturday 4th and Wednesday 22nd December, plus 27th and 28th December and January 3rd. But do note that the on-street parking will be chargeable as normal, it is just the car parks that are free.

The Dorset Council run car parks in Dorchester that are supporting Park4FREE in 2021 are as follows:

  • Acland Road 6404
  • Durngate St. 6400
  • Fairfield (short stay) 6413, Fairfield (long stay) 6402
  • Old Market 6403
  • Top O Town (short stay) 6412, Top O Town (long stay) 6401, Top O Town (commercial) 6410
  • Trinity Street (south) 6406
  • Wollaston Field 6416

It’s hoped the initiative will give a boost to the town’s businesses during the run up to Christmas. The BID very much appreciates the public’s support for local businesses in Dorchester this Christmas, and also thank the Councils for their support with the scheme.
