Witness appeal following fail-to-stop collision near Bridport

Officers investigating a fail-to-stop collision near Bridport are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward.

Dorset Police received a report at 5.05pm on Thursday 17 March 2022 of a collision involving a car and a Lexmoto Hawk motorbike on Mutton Street in Marshwood.

The car – described as possibly a blue Mini – failed to stop at the scene.

The motorcyclist – a man aged in his 20s from Devon – sustained injuries that required medical treatment.

Police Constable Paul Miners, of West Dorset police, told KeeP 106: “Enquiries are underway to establish the full circumstances of the incident. I am keen to hear from anyone who was in the area and may have witnessed what happened. I would also like to speak to any motorists who were travelling along Mutton Street and may have captured anything of relevance on dashcam footage.”
