Fire & Rescue Service to use new multi-storey car park at DCH for training exercise

The Dorchester Fire Station Facebook page states that tonight (31st August) they will be undergoing a training exercise in the new multi-storey car park at Dorset County Hospital.

The fire service says that the exercise will allow them and their colleagues from Bridport Fire Station, Maiden Newton Fire Station and Fire Control to test their procedures and skills.

They will be using the entrance on Damers Road (Dorchester Childrens Centre car park) to access the site.

If you see fire engines, smoke and lots of activity, the training is going well.

Thanks are given to colleagues at Dorset County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust for allowing the Fire Service to use the building in this way, before it opens.
