Generator stolen from site in Abbotsbury

Officers are issuing an image of a stolen generator from a building site near Weymouth and would ask anyone with information about the theft to come forward.

Between Wednesday 1 February and Thursday 9 February 2023 a Bruno Generator, which was on a trailer, was stolen from a building site in Abbotsbury.

The trailer has distinctive yellow forklift points.

Police Constable Glen Caddy, of Dorset Police’s Rural Crime Team, said: “Our enquiries are continuing into this theft and I would ask anyone who saw or heard any suspicious activity between the relevant timeframe to please come forward.

“I am now issuing an image of the stolen generator and trailer and would ask anyone who has seen it locally, either for sale or parked up in unusual circumstances, to please contact Dorset Police.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact Dorset Police at www.dorset.police.uk/contact or by calling 101, quoting occurrence number 55230022176. Alternatively, independent charity Crimestoppers can be contacted anonymously online at Crimestoppers-uk.org or by calling Freephone 0800 555 111.
