Appeal for information following criminal damage on Portland

Officers investigating a report of criminal damage to a home on Portland are appealing for witnesses or anyone with footage to come forward.

The incident occurred between 4.50pm and 5pm on Wednesday 1 March 2023 in Park Estate Road, near to the junction with Montrose Close. Stones were thrown through at the front door of the address, causing damage to a glass pane.

Police Constable Billy Taylor, of the Portland Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “The victim was understandably left distressed by the incident, and we are determined to identify who is responsible for the damage caused.

“I would urge anyone who witnessed what happened, or who has any information relating to those involved, to please contact us.

“I would also urge residents in the area to check the footage on their home CCTV or doorbell cameras around the time of the offence to see if they have captured anything of relevance.”
