Teenagers willing to bare the pain for success

Fin, Ben, Mallacky, Patrick and Elliot from Weymouth’s WOW Youth Musical Theatre group are all showing true dedication to their next show this Easter at the Weymouth Pavilion Theatre.  The boys have all agreed to wax their legs to achieve the silky smooth finish required of a truly fabulous Drag Queen and will be raising funds for charity in the process.

This Sunday, all 5 will begin their transformation from regular teenage schoolboys into glamorous drag queens going by the names of Sandra Bollock, Tray Sophisticay, Laika Virgin, Loco Chanelle and Mimi Me for the Teen edition of Everybody’s Talking About Jamie.

The boys intend to use this painful experience for the good of others and are charging their fellow WOW members for the pleasure of ripping off a strip.  All funds raised will go to an antibullying charity.

Please come and support these talented local youngsters by buying tickets for the show. Performances will be at 7pm nightly from Wednesday 5th April through to Saturday 8th April and there will be a 2pm matinee on Saturday 8th. To purchase tickets visit the Weymouth Pavilion Box Office.
