Officers investigating the theft of alcohol from a shop in Weymouth are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
At approximately 8.15pm on Tuesday 18 April 2023 two people entered Tesco Express in Dorchester Road and went to the alcohol aisle.
The young male offenders were asked to leave by a member of staff, before they stole a crate of lager.
As they left the store, it is reported that they made threats toward a male customer who was standing at the cashier desk.
Police Constable Samuel Hill, of Weymouth police, said: “I would like to hear from the man who was standing near the till at the time of the incident as he may have information to help my investigation.
“I am also keen to speak to anyone who witnessed what happened or has information to assist my enquiries.”
