Perfume stolen from Dorchester fashion store

Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward following a burglary at a shop in Dorchester.

Dorset Police was called at around 1.05am on Monday 28 August 2023 to a report of a burglary at Goulds Fashion Store in South Street.

A quantity of perfume was stolen during the incident.

The offender is described as approximately five feet four inches tall and was wearing a hooded top with a logo on the left arm, cuffed jogging bottom with zipped pockets, Crocs with socks and a covering over their nose and mouth.

Police Constable Abi Snelling, of West Dorset police, said: “I am carrying out enquiries into this incident and am keen to speak to anyone who saw what happened.

“Also, I would like to hear from anyone who may have been in the town centre around the time of the incident and saw a person matching the description given.

“Finally, if you have been offered any perfume for sale locally in unusual circumstances, please contact Dorset Police.”
