A Winter Wonderland raises money once again for Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance

The wait is over, and the magic has officially arrived! Christmas at Nutley Farm has opened its gates to welcome visitors into a winter wonderland of festive delight, promising an unforgettable experience for families and friends. All whilst raising funds for the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance.

Anne Roots is staging the festive extravaganza with her son Julian Hubbuck at Nutley Farm near Winfrith Newburgh. Since launching Christmas events at Nutley Farm in 2020, the team has raised over £26,000 and hopes to boost their fundraising efforts further.

Anne was first rescued from her home by air ambulance in 2015 after her horse and carriage overturned and has since had her life saved again by air ambulance. She expresses a profound ‘debt of gratitude’ to the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance and is determined to do all she can to raise funds for the charity.

Anne said: “Since holding our first Christmas Lights and Reindeer Experience at Nutley Farm in 2020, the event has become bigger and better every year.”

“Visitors can wander along our magical, illuminated trail, enjoy our dazzling new lighting structures and our giant lit-up reindeer, pass through glittering archways, and gaze at the twinkling trees and light installations. Our trail has lighting spectacles, projections, and surprises around each corner.”

“Father Christmas will be returning to his Nutley Farm Grotto this year, and we have launched new evening Christmas parties with live music and daytime Christmas Parties with Santa.”

“Our ‘Elf Hunt’ provides festive fun for children walking the illuminated route, and visitors can meet and feed our four friendly reindeer. We also offer an enhanced festive food and drink menu in our newly expanded indoor barn.”

“The feedback from visitors over our opening weekend has warmed our hearts. We are over the moon to share that the enchanting spirit of Christmas at Nutley Farm has captivated the hearts of many.”

Christmas at Nutley Farm is open until the 31st December, has events suitable for all ages and offers the perfect opportunity to get into the festive spirit with family and friends.
