Hot Air Balloon Festival in pictures

Despite reported traffic problems causing long delays on the A35 the Dorset Hot Air Balloon Festival held at the Dorset County Showground on 4th May appears to have been a success, according to our reporter Idris Martin.

However, there were various more complaints from the public including lack of marshals and toilet facilities and Idris spoke to one farmer who was not happy about the way his cows were spooked by the low flying balloons.

A number of festival goers, including our reporter, followed the flight of the balloons in their cars.

Idris took a sequence of photos of the balloons which you see here: https://idrismartin.wordpress.com
