The weather made its presence felt on Saturday when an early afternoon downpour put paid to Dorchester’s top of the Premier League clash against Bere Regis falling foul, so the players retreated into the bar to discuss what might have been.
Charlton Down vs Cerne Valley, Puddletown vs Shaftsbury and Cattistock & Symene vs Ashmore were also cancelled.
Results:
Chalk Valley beat Martinstown by 6 wickets, Blandford won their game against Swanage by 121 runs, Portland Red Triangle beat Beaminster by 157 runs, Weymouth tallied up 132 runs at Redlands against Wimborne second team with the visitors all out for 84 runs and Abbotsbury beating Witchampton by 7 wickets.
