UPDATE: Motorhome stolen in Weymouth found in Weston-super-Mare

Dorset Police are issuing an update following an appeal to locate a motorhome reported as stolen from Weymouth.

It is reported that between 10.30pm on Monday 5 August 2024 and 12:30am on Tuesday 6 August 2024 a Ford motorhome was stolen from outside an address in Littlemoor Road.

Following enquiries, the motorhome was recovered in Weston-super-Mare in Somerset.

Enquiries to locate the suspects remain ongoing.

Police Constable Sebastian Haggett, of the Dorset Police Rural Crime Team, said: “I am grateful to members of the public and officers from Avon & Somerset Police for their assistance in recovering the vehicle. Our investigation continues to locate the offenders. We will continue to work with neighbouring forces to tackle those who target our communities.”
