FURTHER UPDATE: Family Matters – a helping hand for families in need

Family Matters is a charity based in rent-free premises provided by DJ Property on the Granby Trading Estate in Weymouth. The charity provides donated, good quality clothes, toys and equipment for babies and pre-schoolers to local families in need. All items are gifted by other local families. The organisation had a re-launch on Sunday 18th August and they invited our reporter Rob Mott to attend. Rob spoke to two representatives from the charity and the Mayor of Weymouth, Cllr Jon Orrell.

UPDATE: Rob re-visited Family Matters on 6th September to find out more about their adult clothing department. He also took the opportunity to talk to Lloyd Hatton, MP for South Dorset who was visiting the charity on the same day…
