El Galleon Andalucia returns to Weymouth

The full-size replica of a Spanish galleon ‘El Galleon Andalucia’ has returned to Weymouth Harbour until Monday 2nd September.

She will be open to the public to climb aboard the huge ship as of today (30th August) from 10am to 8pm.

According to the Sail Training International website El Galleon Andalucia has a permanent crew of twelve with facilities for twenty trainees and is owned by the Nao Victoria Foundation, a non-profit entity specialising in promoting and spreading historical events whilst providing training for young people to help them gain confidence in themselves by being a member of the crew.
