Police received a report at 11.15am on Sunday 22 September 2024 that a man and woman stole a minibus from an address in the Melcombe Regis area.

Officers attended and searched for the vehicle, which came to a stop in Bradpole near Bridport at around 12pm.

It is reported that the man made off from the scene.

A 33-year-old woman from Weymouth was arrested on suspicion of theft, burglary and driving offences. She was released on police bail while enquiries continue.

Police Constable Jasper Beauchamp-Woodward, of Dorset Police, said: “Despite ongoing efforts, we have so far not been able to identify the man believed to be involved.

“I am now in a position to issue an image of the man and would ask anyone with information about his identity to please get in touch.”
