A fire which broke out in the roof of a Dorchester care home on the night of Saturday 18th January is believed to have been caused by a faulty power wall socket.
The fire, at Grassington House in Prince of Wales Road, was extinguished by several hose reel jets by around 50 firefighters from across Dorset and Yeovil using breathing equipment and an aerial ladder.
Residents of the care home were evacuated and temporarily rehoused by Dorset Council.
