Pirates, a Big Wheel and a huge Mural. It’s all happening in Weymouth!

Idris Martin reports:

A casual dog walk around Weymouth this morning, and I came across three interesting themes.

The We Are Weymouth BID media department has recruited three actors to dress up as pirates to promote the town.

Further down the Esplanade towards the Pavilion, engineers are erecting Weymouth’s very own version of the London Eye.

Then, walking down Custom House Quay, an artist is creating a mural of the town’s lifeboat on the gable end of the former Coastguards headquarters building, now a cafe.
