Weekend Sports Preview

In the Southern Premier League Weymouth who are currently 17th travel to the Black Gold Stadium to play promotion chasing Poole Town, while Dorchester take the road to 11th placed Hanwell Town, the Magpies sit just one position off the bottom of the league table in 21st place.

The Terras will come up against former Magpie, striker Shaquille Gwengwe  who has tallied up 6 goals for the Dolphins so far this season.

In the Wessex Premier League Portland United are away at Andover New Street and in the Southwest Peninsular League East Bridport visit Elburton Villa.

Bridport Reserves play Cobham Sports at St. Mary’s Field for a Dorset Premier League fixture.

In the Tribute Ale Rugby Leagues Swanage & Wareham host a Dorset Derby against Sherborne, Weymouth & Portland play away against Bournemouth Nomads, Dorchester host East Dorset Dockers at Coburg Road, Puddletown have another Derby game at Greenfields where they play Bridport, Swanage & Wareham second team play Yeovil at Bestwall Park and Wimborne second team play away against Lytchett Minster.

On Sunday Weymouth Women’s football team travel to Wells, Dorchester Women play Cobham Sports away and Ridgewey Ladies host Longfleet at Redlands, all matches kick off at 2:00 pm.
