Dorset Council have announced that they are to begin essential resurfacing work at ten of their council-owned car parks.
Wear and tear has been accelerated by the recent wet weather and the work is to prevent further deterioration avoiding further repairs.
Parking bay layouts will also be updated in the surfaced car parks, increasing widths from 2.4m to 2.6m to better suit modern vehicles — with minimal loss of spaces.
Notices will be displayed in affected car parks and we’ll work to keep disruption to a minimum. You can find out the car parks included in the programme by clicking the link in the comment section.
