A Flood Alert has been issued by the Environment Agency.

Flooding is possible for: Lyme Regis, Charmouth, Seatown, West Bay, Bothenhampton, Burton Freshwater, Burton Bradstock, Cogden Beach, Chesil Beach, West Fleet, East Fleet and Chiswell.

Waves are forecast to overtop defences at exposed locations as a result of spring tides and strong winds.

Detailed tidal information for those who use it; The time and date of the forecast high water is 05:45 on 26/10/2019. The forecast tide level including waves is 6.1 m AOD. The forecast wind strength and direction is Force 7 South westerly.

We believe there is a possibility of flooding for Lyme Regis, Charmouth, Seatown, West Bay, Bothenhampton, Burton Freshwater, Burton Bradstock, Cogden Beach, Chesil Beach, West Fleet, East Fleet and Chiswell.
