Suspicious van reported in the Dorchester area

Dorset Police Rural Crime Team would like you to be aware of the following suspicious vehicles to be on the lookout for across Dorset.

The first vehicle is a 65 plate White Luton type van but unfortunately police don’t have the registration number of this vehicle. Please be on the lookout and if you see a van matching the description please contact police immediately.

This vehicle has been seen in suspicious circumstances in the Dorchester area slowing down and looking into fields and gateways. The two occupants had their faces covered.

The second vehicle is a Red Ford Transit Van with the with the registration number MK**BKZ which has been seen in suspicious circumstances on a farm in the North Dorset Area over the last few days.

The Police have requested members of the public not to use social media to report crimes or incidents, and refrain from commenting on this post if you have seen or reported this vehicle because this will potentially identify you publicly to the owners of these vehicles.

If these vehicles or other vehicles are seen acting suspiciously, please gather as much information as possible such as the registration number and descriptions of the driver and any passengers and if it’s safe to do so please do take a photograph, don’t put yourself in danger to do this.
