With most events off the menu for 2020, Dorset Food & Drink will continue to support and promote their fabulous local Dorset food and drink producers by looking at different ways to engage with the community.
They have been exploring new partnership opportunities and venues to give their members a slice of DF&D action and came up with the idea of mini ‘pop up’ producer & artisan markets.
DF&D Coordinator Caroline Richards told KeeP 106: “We are thrilled to have been invited to ‘pop-up’ in the Borough Gardens to bring a taste of the ‘Dorset Larder’ to visitors and local people. You’ll be able to buy a great range of incredible edibles and meet the producers!”
Popping up at the inaugural market will be: Fordington Gin, Lizzie Baking Bird, Weymouth 51 – Artisan Chilli Sauces, Amazing Sharpeners- A must have tool for campers, caravaners and fishing!
Dorset Coffee Company- Delicious coffee beans and blends of ground coffee to perk you up at any time of day! Bee Wrap Uk, A Jar Of, Christine’s Puddings- GF, Yumptious – vegan food, Olives & Things, Godshill Cherries, Marnhull Leather and Buckshaw Sheep Milk Cheese.
