Local partners have today launched a survey to get people’s views on mental health services within their communities.
The survey is open to anyone aged 16 or over and asks people what they think is good about services, what could be improved and what ideas or hopes they would have for services in the future.
Dr Sudipto Das, Consultant Psychiatrist with Dorset Health Care “Everyone working in health wants people to have access to the services they need, however despite our best efforts we recognise that sometime they don’t meet everyone’s needs.
We are seeking views on how services can be improved, by means of a survey which gives residents of Dorset an opportunity to provide honest feedback to those directly involved in planning and providing services.
We would like hear from everyone, service users, families, carers, whether they have had a good experience or not, as all feedback will be immensely helpful in planning an excellent, excellent mental health service for the future in Dorset.”

The survey runs up to 9 October 2020.
