Appeal for information following burglary in Weymouth

Officers investigating a burglary at a home in Weymouth are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.

The burglary occurred at a home in Knightsdale Road between 10pm on Tuesday 22 September and 6.45am on Wednesday 23 September 2020.

While the occupants were asleep upstairs, entry was gained and a black Acer laptop, a graphite HP laptop, a handbag and two purses were stolen.

The bag is described as a Cath Kidston handbag with a black and white floral design and two shoulder straps. One of the purses was brown and the other was a Cath Kidston purse with a red and white floral design.

Police Constable Laura Hobson, of Weymouth police, said: “We have made a number of enquiries into this burglary, including house-to-house in the area, and our investigation is ongoing.

“I am appealing to anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area on the night of the burglary or who comes across any items matching the description of those stolen to please contact us.”
