Officers investigating a burglary in Weymouth are appealing for anyone with information to come forward – with an image of one of the stolen items being issued.
Between 4.10pm and 9.45pm on Saturday 8 April 2023 entry was gained to a property in the area of Belfield Park Avenue.
A number items of jewellery were stolen, including a gold bangle with a white diamond, a gold Benson watch, a number of cufflinks, a silver chain necklace with a watch face, a silver chain pendant necklace and a gold ring with a red stone. Two jewellery boxes were also stolen.
Police Constable Liam Sutherland, of Weymouth police, said: “I am appealing to anyone who saw or heard any suspicious activity in the area around the relevant time to please come forward.
“I would urge residents or motorists who were in the vicinity to please check their home CCTV or dashcams for any footage that may help my enquiries.
“Also, I am particularly keen to hear from anyone who has seen the bracelet pictured or any of the items matching the descriptions given for sale locally in unusual circumstances.”
