Julian House, a charity that supports vulnerable and at-risk individuals, is organising a Big Dorset Sleep-out on November 3rd and is asking the public to stand up against homelessness by challenging themselves, friends, family and colleagues by sleeping out for one night.
The aim is to raise funds and awareness to help people who are forced to sleep out in Dorset all the time. The charity says that the purpose is not to replicate the stark reality of being homeless and sleeping on the streets, but to raise vital funds through sponsorship.
You can enter as an individual, or with friends and family, or a team from work, school or another organisation, with the proviso that under 16s must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
