Holocaust Memorial Day takes place annually on 27th January and this year a ceremony took in Dorchester’s Corn Exchange on Friday 26th January. The event was organised by Dorchester Town Council and the South-West Dorset Multicultural Network, with the support of Dorset Council and Kushti Bok. It was a time to remember the millions of people who died during the Holocaust, under Nazi persecution, and in the genocides that followed in Cambodia, Rwanda, Bosnia and Darfur.
